Hello! My name is Shubham Krishna and I am a second year Masters student in Machine Learning at the Department of Computer Science at University of Tübingen.

To quench my thirst for research, I am also working as a Research Assistant at Bethge Lab with Steffen Schneider for better understanding of the behaviour of Deep Neural Networks. I am currently working on two really interesting problems: Domain Generalization and Lottery Tickets Hypothesis.

I graduated from IIT Dhanbad, India with a degree of Integrated Masters of Technology with major in Computer Science and Mathematics in 2018.

I spent an amazing one and half year at Samsung Research Bangalore, India where I worked as a Senior Software Engineer in the On-Device Intelligence Search Team led by Hemant Tiwari. During my tenure, I published two research papers at International Conferences in the field of Natural Language Processing and Deep Neural Networks.

During Winter 2017, I was fortunate enough to work with Prof. Romain Billot and Prof. Nicolas Jullien as a Research Assistant in the LUSSI Department at IMT Atlantique, Brest Campus, France. During my stay, I studied the behaviour of online Wikipedia’s contributors using Machine Learning and Statistics. The work led to a Poster Presentation at OpenSym 2018, the 14th International Symposium on Open Collaboration.

During Summer 2017, I did an internship at Samsung Research Bangalore, India where I was working on the Samsung’s Intelligent Voice Assistant (Bixby).
